Reviews
Service was awful. Waitress and bartender were very rude and inattentive. I will never go back the entire restaurant smelled like a dirty bathroom
Good food. Cool vibe. Good selection. Very nice sports bar.
The bar is a cool spot, for a small local bar and the staff are super nice and a lot of fun. With a decent list of beers but nothing super special just a number of options.
Food.....so portion size is decent. The apps was really where its at. They where all really good. Main courses are hit and miss. I think just stick to the burgers as these went down well. Other options really did not.
Great food, great service, no line. I’m always with kids so I was hesitant to try this place but since it’s less crowded than Zaftigs and closer, I tried it with my 8 year old and her friend and then again with my toddler. The food is always good, the waiters are super nice. The music is good. I like it here.
On the evening of December 16th, at 8:00 pm, my visit to Coolidge Corner Clubhouse in Brookline, MA, unfolded into an unexpected adventure, albeit not exactly as planned. Hailing from Texas, the atmosphere in this Boston pub felt like stepping into a vibrant sports-themed movie scene, with patrons proudly clad in Bruins gear, creating a lively and spirited ambiance.
Despite a hiccup with our StubHub tickets, which turned out to be club passes requiring separate game tickets, the evening took an exhilarating turn. Unable to attend the game due to this unforeseen circumstance, we resorted to reselling the tickets on StubHub. The unexpected plot twist, however, didn't dampen the spirits at Coolidge Corner Clubhouse.
Jared, our server, exhibited remarkable patience and assistance, especially as we navigated the menu. While I regret missing out on the seasonal Guinness beef stew, Jared's recommendations and genuine service added a layer of hospitality to the evening.
The lively hockey game, punctuated by a spirited fight resulting in a player heading to the penalty box, had the entire bar buzzing with excitement. The pub captured the true essence of Boston sports culture, creating an authentic and memorable experience.
Coolidge Corner Clubhouse, with its blend of familiar warmth and Boston sophistication, became an unexpected highlight of my Boston visit. Despite the ticket glitch, the atmosphere, service, and the unique Bostonian charm made it an evening to remember. Jared's outstanding service and the spirited atmosphere turned what could have been a disappointment into a uniquely Boston adventure.
I love coming here for their Tuesday trivia nights! Food is a bit on the pricier side if you’re going for a full entree. I really love the pretzels bites and the buffalo cauliflower - they’re priced reasonably and delicious. All in all it’s a favorite spot in the area to grab a drink with my friends - bartenders are great.
I was at the bar yesterday, I stop by have a few beers and play some keno.
Usually service is fine, this time for some reason the bartender ignored me after my first beer and food.
It wasn't busy, he walked back in forth infront of me like 10 times with an empty glass and plate, and a keno ticket with cash on it. Kept going to the end of the bar to talk to a woman and chatting up the regulars.
No idea what triggered him. My guess it that it was me putting a keno ticket in my walet without cashing it. It was a $3 winner, I save those up. Perhaps he thought I hit and jiped him on a tip?
I didn't see any signs to be greeted & seated for service for dine in. I sat myself down at counter that's directly behind a bar that was full. 15 minutes passed by but no staff approached or noticed me sitting at the bar counter table. Impatiently I left out when no asked if I helped or served.
